David Vidos makes move from MSP to vendor land, now the Partner Development Manager at Hosted Network

1 September 2023, Sydney Australia –  Former SMBiTPro CEO, David Vidos has joined Hosted Network as Partner Development Manager, marking a significant addition to the team. In this pivotal role, David will play a crucial part in nurturing relationships with key partners, fostering growth, and contributing to the strategic expansion of the company.

David Vidos brings a wealth of experience to his new position, having spent over 25 years in the IT industry. He started his career as an IT technician, honing his skills in computer assembly and providing on-site support for a local IT firm. His journey eventually led him to establish his own IT support business, which he successfully managed for 17 years before strategically selling it three years ago. Following the acquisition of his business, David continued to contribute significantly to the industry, taking on the role of General Manager and Chief Product Architect for the Internal Database and Client Portals at Techno Group.

David’s deep industry insights and passion for collaboration are further demonstrated by his years of involvement with SMBiT Professionals, where he held various positions, including the distinguished role of its first CEO.

Reflecting on his new role, David shared, “I don’t just see this as a vendor-customer relationship. True partnership goes beyond transactions; it’s about mutual success and growth. My MSP background has given me a unique perspective on what partners truly need – someone invested in their success.”

Coming from an MSP background and approaching partnerships with a unique perspective, David had a clear set of criteria in mind when considering which vendor to align with.
